I know you’re not thinking about dieting and weight loss right now. You’ve got the holidays coming up, with its rich assortments of amazing foods in humongous portions. I’m sure the last thing you want to think about is cutting back (though I hope you’ll “eat responsibly”!)
But in January- guaranteed- you’ll be getting serious about weight loss.
This January begins the second annual Diet Boot Camp Challenge. For those of you new to this mailing list, Diet Boot Camp is my phenomenally successful weight loss program. It’s a self-directed 8-week program that consists of 4 CDs (with topics such as motivation and metabolism) and a 200 page workbook/ manual.
Twice a year we run a “Biggest Loser”- type contest we call the Diet Boot Camp Challenge. People start the program around the same time, post their starting measurements (if they want to), share stories, inspiration and information, and participate in the special Diet Boot Camp Community Challenge social networking site specially set up for this purpose. (I visit the community frequently to answer questions and post messages!)
There are prizes galore, including a special gift basket donated by Barlean’s Organic Oils, a set of my books, and the Vital Choice “Dr. Jonny” pack of goodies (fresh salmon fillets, wild blueberries, and all sorts of good stuff!)
And for those who are really gung-ho, Anja Christy, my Master Weight Loss Coach and partner, will be offering special rates for participants who want the added boost of working one-on-one with a coach during this period. Anja has had spectacular results in the past, including one client who lost 40 pounds over 4 months! Astonishing!
Don’t just make a New Year’s Resolution to lose those unwanted pounds—commit to making that happen for you this year.
If you enroll in Diet Book Camp before the 1st of January, you’ll receive 15% off the total program with the coupon Holiday.
Join today and be ready for The Challenge on January 10! Click here right now to take that step.
I’ve helped countless people lose weight—will you be my next success story?

Hi there,
I’ve participated in a Diet Bootcamp earlier this year, and I’d like to participate again when the new one starts in January. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Hazel.
Of course!! we would be delighted to have you!

Hi Dr. Jonny:
I didn’t know where to post this question, so apologies if I’ve found the wrong place!
I weight train hard 4 days a week. (I competed nearly 14 years ago, at age 41, as a natural bodybuilder.) Now about to turn 55, I get run down easily after a workout. I am seeing an anti-aging physician and taking natural thyroid, vitamin D, bioidentical hormones, and various supplements, including pregnenolone, DHEA and adrenal cortex–including small amounts of hydrocortisone to deal with my fatigue. But I wonder what I can take directly after a weight-training session that would help me avoid getting wiped out? A lot of the glutamine and BCAA supps on the market have artificial sweeteners I don’t care to take. What are my options?
MANY thanks!
Hi Kathleen
Well it definitely seems like you are doing absolutely everything right! You sound in amazing shape- inspiring! I don’t know how long you’ve been taking the natural hormones but give them some time to work- it may take a while to get the right doses. Fatigue can come from so many sources- not to mention delayed food sensitivities- that i wouldn’t know where to start in making a guess. Certainly high quality protein supplements and BCAA’s may help after workout as may TAURINE (1000mg)…the one proven use for taurine as far as energy goes is that it helps hard training athletes recover.
Hope that helps
warmly
